Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors of cheappartybus.ca and to anyone who requests a quote, calls our office, emails us or books a party bus rental with Cheap Party Bus, based in Toronto, Ontario. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as when you submit our quote form, call 647-556-2392 or email info@cheappartybus.ca. This typically includes your name, phone number, email address, event date, pickup and drop-off locations, group size and any details you share about your event.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you browse our site, such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and which pages you visit, through standard web server logs and analytics tools.

How we use your information

We use your information to prepare and send quotes, confirm and coordinate bookings, assign a driver and vehicle to your rental, respond to questions, and send booking-related communications such as pickup reminders. We may also use your contact details to follow up on a quote you requested or, with your consent, to tell you about seasonal offers. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that affect you.

How we share your information

We share the minimum information necessary with our drivers and dispatch staff so they can carry out your booking. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order.

Cookies & analytics

Our website uses cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site, measure the performance of our pages, and improve the browsing experience. These tools collect aggregated, non-identifying usage data. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from requesting a quote by phone or email.

Data retention

We keep quote and booking records for as long as needed to fulfil your rental, respond to any follow-up questions or disputes, and meet our bookkeeping and tax obligations, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.

Data security

We restrict access to personal information to staff who need it to prepare quotes and manage bookings, and we take reasonable administrative and technical precautions to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights & choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct inaccurate information, ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain, or opt out of promotional emails or texts at any time. To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults arranging transportation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and quote requests should be submitted by someone 18 or older.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use of our site or services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
